Meet Jenny Krueger, The Garage Group’s New Lean Researcher

At TGG, we speak a lot about growth – not just for ourselves, but for our clients too. That’s why we’re constantly on the lookout for top talent to join our team and keep strengthening our capabilities.

We are excited to welcome Jenny Krueger to our team as our Lean Researcher! Why are we excited about Jenny? Her passion and expertise on research is a powerful addition to our Lean Research practice.

But, there’s more. We’ve learned a lot about Jenny. Read on to learn how she brings more value to our team and, by extension, to you.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m enthusiastic, a people-person.  Plus, I’m great at building relationships. I am an experienced market researcher, passionate about understanding the consumer experience. Once understood, you can activate with the consumer in mind and provide strategic direction to help brand and innovation teams succeed.

In my free time, you’ll find me in nature.  I love to hike, kayak, snowboard, or simply relax at the beach.

What is a fun fact about yourself that would surprise many people?

I’m 5’3” and I played center on my childhood basketball team. Can you believe it?! My height maxed out when I was around 11 years old. While I towered over my opponents early on, it only took a few years before I needed to make the switch to point guard, going from the rebounder to the long shooter. Just like the team at TGG, I am small yet mighty.

What drew you to The Garage Group?

Right away, TGG’s focus on deeply understanding consumers’ needs and experiences throughout the innovation development process resonated with me. The majority of my previous research experience focused on consumer reaction to finalized concepts. I am excited to bring my decade of client management and insights experience to help clients earlier in their innovation process. This will increase the likelihood of in-market success.

What is your superpower?

I’m great at empathizing and connecting with others. The relationships I’ve built throughout my life transcend differing priorities, beliefs, and values. This is because I appreciate and recognize the needs they fill for others in their interpretations of life and their experiences.

Tell us about a time you had to be courageous.

Throughout my life I have shown my courage by being willing to try new things. I have made big career and industry changes on a few occasions over the past decade. Leaping onto a new career path or into a new industry has built my confidence. My success comes from knowing that the tools I possess and have developed will be reliable wherever I am.
