The Christmas season represents a big portion of sales for many companies, and we were curious. When and why do specific brands make the wish lists of potential receivers or gift-givers? When and why does a gift-giver decide to buy the name brand versus buying a knock-off?
So, we dug in. Specifically, we looked at millennials, who are key spenders this holiday season. We looked at what was on their wish lists and their shopping lists. We also focused on a few other key categories (like food and beauty products) to supplement our general learning.
