Tenacious Pursuit

Tenacity is one of our favorite words.  Dictionary.com defines it as the “quality or property of being tenacious.”  Which, then begs further exploration of “tenacious.”  Check out this visual map:

How many of these words describe you?  Your approach and commitment to your venture?  The intricacy of this concept, as applied to inside entrepreneurs, is multi-faceted.

Never in conflict with being open to new learning, adapting and optimizing plans based on new information, the quality of tenacity is a common trait we’ve seen among successful inside entrepreneurs.

They are persistent about making a difference in their organizations.

They tirelessly pursue opportunities to grow the business, themselves (personally and professionally) and others.

They persevere in the face of adversity.

There is no lack of coherence between their goals and the actions they pursue everyday.

They are committed to success, and that commitment, that tenacity, carries them through to reach their goals.

How tenacious are you?
